How to Prepare for a Hurricane
In the aftermath of Hurricane Irene and with Tropical Storm Katia looming, I thought it best to offer some guidance on how best to prepare for a hurricane and to keep a level head so that you don’t panic when the news (and everyone around you) starts going OMGWTFBBQ!!!!HURRICANEARMAGEDDON!!!

To all the folks flooded out and without power from Hurricane Irene I want you to stay safe and stay hopeful. Remember that the Red Cross and other service organizations are out there if your home isn’t safe or if you don’t have power or water.
If you know someone up there and you have some communication with them, make sure to pass along this message.

When I was a kid I spent a lot of time watcing Adventures in Odyssey. Like a lot of other kids, I went to Whit’s End to learn about friendship, respect, generosity, kindness, honesty, and forgiveness.
